Manny you're a very lucky cat. It's clear you captured the hearts of your mom & dad. I have 5 that were throwaways that captured my heart. You look like my Spunky did when he was young...he passed away last month at the age of 14 due to eating the tainted cat food. I love your blogs, they make me smile. Keep 'em coming!
Hi I just caught Manny's site. It's great! I have 3 stray cats and they're the joy of my life. It's awesome what you are doing. Animals are just as important as other famly members, if not more. They don't talk back and they love you unconditionally. Rock on Manny and friend !!!!!!!!
Beautiful Manny! You are obviously so loved. You are a very fortunate kitty, but I am sure you already know that. I have three kitties of my own and one foster kitty. They are all boys, and live with me in Seattle, Washington. When I have more time I will spend some finding out all about you. Right now I just wanted to say hello and that I am glad you are here. You cheered me up today, just like my boys do, when I needed it. Thank you, and say "(roley meow)" to your human mama for me.
I'm sooo glad to hear of a new cat owner!! A lifelong animal lover myself, I've owned MANY cats. Manny is beautiful. (Did you know that cats LOVE to hear the word "beautiful?" They DO -- tell him he's beautiful & watch the reaction.) They also LOVE to be scratched just above the tail area (I'd owned many cats b4 I found this out). It's NOT sexual at all, it's merely a sensual experience they ALL love. He may put tail end up when you do it. I'm so glad you're enjoying your cat. Wishing you MANY wonderful years with Manny.
Thank goodness my kids are far away from this screen. They would beg me for a kitty. But we need a little more time! When i was a kid we had a beautiful tabby too. His name was "Morris" what else. Do you remember those Morris the cat commercials. Anyway, I wanted to give virtual pets and rubs to Manny. Especially right behing the ears and on the nose, like between the eyes. Lol hope Manny enjoyed it! Have a feline friendly weekend! jen
I am the original president of Manny's fanclub. G, I'm figuring out how to navigate on MSN. Boy, do I miss Manny! I'm going to have to do another visit (I'll bring wine for you & the adorable husband), this time Manny won't think I'm taking him back to Little Shelter! I have fresh cat nip growing. Manny loves catnip but wait 'til you see you see his reaction to the fresh version. Just wait! I'll bring you a potted plant, too. So happy to hear Mansfield sleeps with you at night. He's come a long way. When I visit, I'll bring him some fresh shrimp. When I figure out how to upload shots from my webcam, I'll send photos of a feral, long-haired version of 'Field. My cat Edwid, who resembles Manny like mad! Also, help me get a site up of my 30 lb. formerly feral cat Beige Baby, brother of Edwid. Also Little Shelter wonders. I don't know why, but that shelter ends up with so many 1 in a million cats. I think they have a special link to the Universe. If not that, then the workers & volunteers do work a magic. Diane F., volunteer who hands out fresh turkey breast to over 300 cats & helps pay medical bills, buys cat trees, etc. So, they are shelter cats who get spoiled by workers & volunteers. Even for a family day out, go visit this place, it's free & better than a day at Bronx zoo or petting zoo. Go claim your prize... LeeLee
I came acoss your site and it sure made me smile! Nothing Like a smile to help a thursday work day go by fast! I hope your being a good wittle kitty! and staying out of Trouble! Although you look like Trouble! lol
I hope you are laying in the sun lots and enjoying your self! in cat talk that would be ~Meow Meow Meeeeeeow & Purrrrrr Meow!~ HA!
HOORAY! Found your site tonight...cat lovers are some great folks w/interesting tales...and we all know...if cats could talk, THEY WOULDN'T!!!! Glad you are doing your part on behalf of Manny...he looks like the twin of one I had named "Mr.Jinx". But, if he is a polydactal (multiple-toed, exceeding the average number) - then I might think we have some bloodlines crossed somewhere along the line. I am only owned by 2 now, but at one time ended up with 24. Hope to visit again soon & read more Manny antics!( OH, and a P.S. to Katie -if your cat hates being combed, try to pat her/him with a SMALL soft babies brush hidden in your palm HALF the session....one stroke hand, next brush, alternate, ETC.,and work up to ALL brush - maybe even larger & sturdier bristles; they should learn to accept, if not love it, and gradually RUN to you when they see the brush come out, as mine do now! Hope it works; it's sure worth a try. If I skip a couple days, I pay for it in carpet spots as well! GOOD LUCK!!!)

Hi I enjoyed your cat blog. I'm a cat lover, as I myself am owned by 2 female cats Zelda, & Tabby. I recently set up my own blog on msn and plus a blog on MY OPERA. This blogging thing is all new to me, so I am not sure if it is a published blog like yours. I confess I am just a bit computer illiterate.
